CAMP ENCOURAGEMENT
June 27 – July 1st ~ free
a special camp experience for grieving children

Camp Encouragement – support children who are grieving the loss of a loved one. Our camp is free for children who will attend. The camp is free, transportation will be provided if needed and our ages are 6-10. Please go to the website ​www.campenc.org and download the application.  Summer Camp at the Nia Center
IT’s FREE!!
Music, Art, Dance, Swim, Games, Sports, Yoga, Learning, Trips, Friendship & FUN!
Camp at the Nia Center includes a wide variety of creative and educational activities for children ages 4 – 14 years that explore arts mediums, physical fitness, and study review of academic subjects reinforcing school year learning throughout the summer…plus much more.  Special classes are taught by qualified teaching artists from Nia’s partnership programs throughout the city.  Chaperoned field trips by bus to local destinations will be included along with snacks and lunch each day.

CAMP DATES: JULY 7 – August 13 ~ 6 Weeks
DAYS: Tuesday, Wednesdays & Thursdays
TIMES: 10:00 – 2:15 PM
COST: Camp is Free (One time $30 Registration Fee is required. Covers full camp session.)
 AGES:  Grades 1st – 7th

This means that we can proceed to provide arts, education and recreational activities for more that 50 children and youth this summer. We will be partnering with some of our local organizations in addition to hosting the children at our main headquarters site on Reaney Street.
